About us

SEMA Real Estate is a real estate investor and developer with Romanian capital, with over 20 years of activity on the local market, supported by a team of professionals awith extensive experience in planning, developing and managing large-scale real estate projects.

SEMA Real Estate has in its portfolio over 150,000 square meters (GLA) of office spaces and has delivered over 55,000 square meters of new class A buildings in the last four years, within the Sema Parc and The Light, through the three class A buildings – The Light One, London and Oslo. All projects recently developed are certified according to the BREEAM and DAKRA standards for green buildings, with the Excellent rating.

Our mission is to transform and reshape the urban landscape in the central-western area of the capital through the sustainable development of the two large-scale projects – Sema Parc – located on Splaiul Independentei - approx. 1,000,000 sqm GBA and The Light – located on Iuliu Maniu Boulevard, approx. 150,000 sqm GBA.

Our story

As developers, our history begins with the first project: Sema Parc. But here's how I got here.

Sema Parc SA is established - industrial park, as a post-privatisation of Semănătoarea factory

2001

River Invest SA is established as the real estate developer of Sema Parc project

2003

The masterplan of Sema Parc project is launched, as a mixed and integrated development

2006

It begins the constructions of the first two office buildings in Sema Parc - Riverplace

2006

The first two Riverplace buildings are purchased by Europolis (CA Immo)

2009

Acquisition of 50% of Pumac

2009

Rehabilitation and reconsolidation of the existing buildings in Sema Parc

2010

It begins the development of class A office buildings in Sema Parc - Paris, Berlin and Bruxelles

2013

Completion of the land acquisition transaction owned by Pumac

2015

Bruxelles – a new Class A building in Sema Parc is delivered

2016

Announcing the integrated project The Light, on the Pumac field

2017

It begins the development of class A office buildings - London and Oslo - in Sema Parc
